**Duration:** 1 minute

Thick hair erupts from the target’s chin and grows until it rests upon the ground. A target with a beard already experiences sudden growth that continues until it reaches the ground. While the beard feels like normal hair, it protects the target by imposing 1 bane on rolls to attack them. The spell ends early if the target takes damage from fire or lightning. When the spell ends, all new beard growth falls out or breaks off to return the growth to its normal length.
