Faerie Garden
Tradition: Animism
Rank: Master
Castings: 1
Duration: 1 minute
Flowers, vines, herbs, and other plants erupt from the ground in the target space and instantly attract nearby invisible faeries to wreak havoc on your enemies. The ground in the area counts as challenging terrain and grants creatures in the space partial cover from those outside it. Enemies in the target space become cursed for as long as they remain in it. When a cursed enemy starts its turn, roll a d6 to see what happens to them:
| d6 | Result |
|---|---|
| 1 | The faeries trip the enemy. The enemy makes an Agility roll with 1 bane; on a failure, it falls prone and cannot stand up until it leaves the target space or until it overcomes this effect with a success on a Strength roll. If the enemy was already prone, it takes 1d6 damage instead. |
| 2 | The faeries snatch up the enemy and move it to a different part of the target space. The enemy then becomes confused and vulnerable until the start of its next turn. |
| 3 | The faeries tickle or otherwise make the enemy laugh. The enemy becomes slowed, vulnerable, and weakened until the start of its next turn. |
| 4 | The faeries use the enemy to harm itself or another creature in the target space. The target of the harm makes a luck roll; on a failure, the target takes 4d6 damage. |
| 5 | The faeries attempt to tear the enemy apart. The enemy takes 3d6 damage and makes a Strength roll; on a failure, it takes an extra 3d6 damage. |
| 6 | The faeries grab and maneuver the enemy’s body. The enemy becomes controlled by you and remains so until the start of its next turn. |
